Instrument Data#

Parameters for each trading instrument: minimum price and volume increments, order limits, and other specifications.

Instrument Specifications#

Each instrument has its own parameters: price precision, minimum and maximum order volume, and increments. They are configured by the exchange and may change, so the table is loaded automatically.

Why You Need This Information#

Check the specifications when an order is rejected or executes differently than expected:

• The order was rejected — Its volume is probably below the minimum or above the maximum for this instrument.
• The price was rounded — Each instrument has its own tick size, and intermediate values are adjusted to it.
• You are calculating a strategy — The minimum volume increment is important when calculating position size.
