Verification (KYC) on ABCEX
Completing KYC is necessary for the safety of clients and their funds, as well as for access to the P2P platform and cash transactions.
What documents are suitable?
You can undergo verification using one of three documents:
- Passport
- International passport
- ID card
Avoid glare, make sure all text is legible, and keep the entire document inside the frame. For a Russian passport, photograph both the page with your full name and the page showing the issuing authority and date.
How to get verified
- ABCEX Profile - Open your profile
- "Get verified" - Click the button in your profile
- Upload documents - Follow the instructions on the screen
- Wait for verification – 2–10 minutes
After successfully completing KYC, the corresponding status will appear in your profile.
How the verification works: 3 steps
The verification takes place on a trusted certified service - it opens from your profile. There are only three steps, the whole journey takes a few minutes.
- Step 1. Document - Select the country of issue and the type of document, then take a photo of it or upload a finished file.
- Step 2. Data verification — The service extracts the data from the document and shows it to you. Review it carefully before confirming; an error may cause the verification to be rejected.
- Step 3. Liveness selfie — Record yourself slowly turning your head so the service can confirm that a real person is present rather than a photograph.
Each step has a “continue on mobile” link. The phone camera usually takes a better picture than the laptop webcam - both the document and the selfie pass the first time.
At the end, the service separately shows the result for three points: profile, document and person. The verification status will also appear in the “Profile” tab.
Limitations
Due to AML/KYC requirements, ABCEX serves clients from 18 through 55 years of age. Citizens of the following countries cannot complete KYC: Myanmar, Zimbabwe, Iraq, Iran, Cuba, Côte d’Ivoire, the United States, Liberia, Lebanon, North Korea, Syria, Sudan, Ukraine, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.

This is a liveness check: the service asks you to slowly turn your head in front of the camera to confirm that a real person is being verified rather than someone using another person's photo. The verification cannot be completed without it.
