Telegram Linking Issues#

If you cannot link your account to Telegram, follow these steps in order and continue to the next one if the previous step does not help.

1. Check Your Telegram Version#

Make sure you have the latest version installed:

• Open your app store: Google Play or the App Store.
• Find Telegram and check for updates.
• If a new version is available, update the app.

Updates often include bug fixes that improve stability.

2. Change Your Device or Network#

• Try linking Telegram from another device, such as another smartphone or tablet.
• Switch to another internet connection: from Wi-Fi to mobile data or vice versa.

Restrictions or failures on a particular network or device can sometimes cause the problem, and switching resolves it.
