P2P lets users buy and sell crypto directly for rubles and other currencies. The exchange secures each transaction through escrow.
Some users post crypto sale ads, while others respond to them. The exchange holds the seller's crypto until payment is confirmed, securing the transaction through escrow.
In each P2P transaction, one participant is the maker, the other is the taker. This is not the same as a seller and a buyer: you can be both a maker and a taker in both roles.
In short: the maker creates offers, the taker selects from ready-made ones. Which is more profitable depends on the volume and how urgently.
Never click “Paid” unless you have transferred the money. After payment is confirmed, the exchange automatically releases the seller's crypto to the buyer, and the transaction cannot be reversed.
If the transaction is stuck, click "Open dispute". ABCEX support will act as an arbiter: it will examine correspondence and payment confirmations. The seller's crypto remains locked until a resolution is reached.
An appeal is needed if you are selling, the buyer clicked “Transfer sent”, but the money never arrived on the card.
You will need screenshots of your statement or other evidence that the payment was not received. Respond to the agent promptly so the dispute can be resolved as quickly as possible.
The maker creates an ad and waits for a response, which is useful for large amounts or when no existing ad offers suitable terms. The taker responds to an existing ad, which is faster for a one-time transaction. Buyers and sellers can act as either maker or taker.
Do not confirm receipt of the transfer - after confirmation, the cryptocurrency will go to the buyer. Select “Open Appeal”: an ABCEX support agent will connect to the transaction chat. Prepare screenshots of your statement in advance.
